This question comes from a conversation I with the sisters of my mother. FYI my sister had CF and lost his fight against the disease 05/15/2007. She wanted a lung transplant, but doctors told him that "no, not even say" that you said to go the transplant clinic to see if you qualify only: "can not." Apparently he thought he was sick, but do not agree to many of us. My sisters husband has CF. The mother wants to know who for a transplant into question? I believe that where you live and the DR is a difference, whether you are a transplant (various titles). So I take a poll, "If you or someone you know has a transplant get when you / they have it?" I would also like to know how old (without transplant) are living with cystic fibrosis in your area? Exspectancy not aveage want to know. Please pass this message to get the highest number of responses. Ohio, died 1 in transplantation medicine in zone 1 and. 27 years in 1987 it was known that my cousin is lower now with the new doctors. You now have 22 friends of the family.

I am 17 and I am valued for the survey of transplantation. I'm going through it at Stanford University as well. I wish to inform the lady whose brother goes through. I am very shocked, and I would like some input! I hope that helps!
I was 27 when I saw my bilateral lung transplantation, which just passed my 12th Year, 26-May-2007, I was in Louisville, KY One of the first CF patients transplanted in the transplanted state. Unos by the rules and regulations established, too sick for a transplant, if the physician believes that no one would be able to recover from surgery, as you can and probably will be rejected organ donors are hard to find. I took care of a patient of 32 years, a heart-lung transplantation for cystic fibrosis, wwas doctor in North Carolina, it was .. The DR was taken in TN.
